Summary

Bottom Line – One of the most complete brewery experience in Asheville with a big selection of good beers and a huge space with activities.

We went to the Hi-Wite along the River and had an awesome time. It had just opened, because we are degenerates, so we were the only people. Bartender was nice, and the beers were better than I expected (based on what I saw on Untappd). Just goes to show why Untappd can’t be only source like I mention on the Rating description page. The menu was really big, offering diverse styles and ABVs, including NAs. I saw some snacks but no real food but may have just been time of day. The real selling point though was the setting. They’ve got a bit outdoor area with a bunch of tables and vibrant colors all over. The indoor is kinda warehouse-y but they have bocce ball lanes and cornhole (or bags if you prefer). I think I saw some other arcade type games in another room too but I was enjoying the weather. It’s a little off the main road, tucked away by train tracks, but they have a big parking lot. The only thing I’m not sure of is whether it would be great when the heat is high. But this was one the most complete brewery experiences I had in Asheville and if we lived there, we probably would go regularly.
