Summary

Bottom Line – A safe space where almost any beer you could want will always be on tap…including some you never imagined. Many excellent beers and some scary.

Martin house has long been arguably my favorite brewery. They are the undisputed kings of weird. I’ve seen beers flavored like every condiment, cheddar bay biscuits, aus jus, pizza, etc. but lost in all that, they also churn out some excellent sours, stouts, and IPAs. Their specialty definitely lies in their higher ABV sours and stouts, but they do other great things too. Just east of downtown Fort Worth, they are well-located for visitors to Fort Worth. Parking isn’t great (one of their weaknesses), but the space is pretty big especially when you consider the outdoor. They get a little overcrowded because the inside isn’t as big as the outdoor area, but they’re offering once there are stellar. Their menu is always huge, so no one will have an issue finding something to drink. They also have food readily available, and expand those offerings with more food trucks sometimes on weekends. Their price point for to go is also really good for the quality. They are one of the few breweries I’ve seen that can in 12 and 16 ounce. Lastly, they have consistently excellent service. They always have several people ready to help at the bar, and of the 25+ times I have been there, I’ve never had an unpleasant server. In fact, they welcome you sampling beers before you buy, And will mix beers too. They were the first bury I went to that advertised mixing. Ultimately, I highly recommend anybody visiting make Martin House a priority.
