Summary

Bottom Line – One of the best breweries I’ve been to. Huge menu with great beers. Interesting layout and good location. It’s the only place we went to more than once.

Burial is one of the best breweries I’ve ever been to. The beers are generally outstanding, from their Helles Lager to their Imperial Pastry Stout (of which they have an abundance). Their menu is MASSIVE, and each of the “bars” in the establishment has unique offerings. 3 visits yielded 6+ styles and 15+ beers, including one of the best 5-10 beers I’ve ever had. We went to the “South Slope” location near Downtown, and it was great for going to other breweries and bars, not to mention the abundance of food options close by. Their food looked and smelled great, but we always came with full tummies. Their layout is sweet, with multiple levels, a blend of inside/outside, and even a rooftop setup. There outside space is spacious with trees, string lights, and even a rooftop. However, the one downside was the service. We had an awesome bartender (Paul? Dan?) on our last night but the other times we felt like a burden…rude. Lastly, the pricing is pretty good for the quality, but the To Go is steep. You get what you pay for, right?
