Wedge
Tier 2
Summary
Bottom Line – Solid beers and better space near the river. Sharing the area with other good establishments is a great feature.
We went to the wedge brewery along the river and sadly, only got one hour there because of when it opened. The beers and menu were solid but unremarkable. I would have liked to see a little more style variety, but it may have just been happen stance from when we were there. The really cool thing about this location is that it shares a space with a barbecue joint, which is renowned called 12 bones. Since it was right there, I got to try some barbecue which was delicious. This is a really cool feature because there are other shops that are a two minute walk and they all seemed kind of cohabitate. Inside the brewery is a big space with lots of small-ish rooms that all have kind of different features. They also have a big courtyard outside, which has a lot of seeing options. It’s a good space for sure. Server was really nice and apologetic because one of the beers had tapped. It’s a little out-of-the-way, but there is parking. We will probably go back next time to give the beers another chance but it’s a worthwhile place to go regardless.
