Summary

Bottom Line – A brewery that feels more like a nicer restaurant. Beers were good but menu was limited.

Burdock felt more like a nicer restaurant than a brewery. The patio was great and the inside was really nice. But that niceness made it feel less casual. I tried 3 beers and they were all really good, but they didn’t have a lot of choices. Very small menu. The food looked really good, and I can attest the fries were great. Location was better than most of the other West End breweries but splitting hairs. Server honestly seemed a little annoyed we were just having beer so that threw me a bit. Not sure if it was just a bad day, but it was probably near the bottom of service experiences in Toronto. Ultimately, I probably won’t go back next time in the city despite having good beer and a nice place. But I could be swayed.
