Summary

Bottom Line – A brewery with a fun theme and good energy. Beers are solid too, but the service was great.

Left field brewing was our third stop on the East End. The place was packed, which is normally a pretty good sign for local love. Menu size was decent but styles definitely focused on the IPA and sour side. They had a table there that was cooking up food, but I don’t know if it’s there all the time. I had a flight (Bonus points!) and sampled two other beers from my friends so I tried six total. The beers were fine, but I wouldn’t put them in the same tier as some of the other breweries I went to in the city. The baseball theme was fun for me, as a sports fan, but also as a person who was there in town to go see the Blue Jays play. It’s not a very big place, and it’s definitely more warehouse-y, but that’s because the taproom was so full. The servers I spoke with were both lovely. A+ there. Ultimately, I may go back on my next visit because the energy was good and it’s fairly convenient for other breweries on the East End.
