Summary

Bottom Line – A great brewery to hit if you have limited time in Texas. You can get good beers in a good location, but also get good Brisket.

Located a couple blocks east of downtown, Cowtown is the closest thing to a downtown brewery that Fort Worth has. You would think being downtown would make it hard to park, but they actually have a small lot which is great considering the location is really good. The indoor space is on the small side but comfortable and nice. The outdoor space is pretty big and part of it is covered too which comes in very handy considering how unbearable the heat can be. The menu is a decent size, but tends to be limited in style options. The beers themselves are pretty good, and some are even very good. They get bonus points too, because they have legit BBQ on site which you can order from your phone and have delivered to your seat. Service was very good and pricing generally reflects good beers in a good location. Ultimately, I certainly recommend visiting Cowtown especially if you don’t have time to go to a Texas BBQ place while you’re in town. Two birds with one stone.
