Summary

Bottom Line – German beerhall stylings with some unique takes on classics. Very good beer and very good pizza

Maple branch isn’t one of the biggest names in Fort Worth, but it’s one of the best breweries. Boasting several award-winning beers from GABF, they do not lack for quality and style. They do a decent amount of experimentation, so there are some interesting flavors to be had. They also tend to cover most of the bases when it comes to styles available. For that reason their selection is generally quite good, especially when you factor that they have on-site pizza and snacks. The pizza is good too. Another fun aspect, they have some lower ABV beers in traditional styles that you can order in large glasses (like 32 oz). Always fun to drink out of a glass as big as your head.,The space is filled with long bench style tables, which makes it easy to share space and get more people inside. Everything is nice and clean. They also have a decent size courtyard (complete with fountain) which is great when the weather is nice enough. Being a few blocks from the West 7th area, they are pretty well located for other breweries and restaurants. Service has always been solid. Pricing matches the quality of what you’re buying, so I think take-home beer might be a little high. Ultimately, This is a place generally recommend for visitors in town because the beers are good, plentiful, and served in a well located nice place. For instance, I just had a friend in from Oklahoma and we went to four breweries, including this one.
